Following the great success of the “One-Day-I-Walk-Into-the-Rice-Field” project, on 26 September 2020 the company once again organised an activity to benefit society and the environment with the “One-Day-I-Walk-Into-the-Rice-Field, Year 3” project. Over the past 2 years, the activity has been very well received by the company's executives, employees and business partners, and the “Siamese Rice” product has brought happiness and delight to every recipient. This year, in addition to planting Hom Pathum rice together, the executives and volunteer employees who joined the activity learned how to make natural fermented bio-extract by fermenting pineapple, fresh fish and molasses, to be used as natural fertiliser so that the rice plants grow well, in a demonstration rice field cultivated using natural methods under the guidance of the district's outstanding farmer.

“In organising this activity, besides getting chemical-free rice as the harvest, we have also seen our employees learn the value of the rice they eat, understand the hardships farmers face in growing rice, and learn about giving, sharing and sacrifice. Most importantly, organic rice farming without chemicals not only benefits consumers but also protects the environment by avoiding the use of chemicals,” said Mr. Khajornsit Singsansern, Chief Executive Officer, to employees while opening the activity.
