The company has committed to certifying more than 80% of its portfolio with EDGE, the green building solution created by the International Finance Corporation (IFC), the private sector arm of the World Bank Group
Bangkok; April 19th, 2023.- Siamese Asset PLC (SA) is the first company in Thailand to become an EDGE Champion, a global recognition given by IFC to companies that are committed to designing and building green real estate portfolios all around the World, and also received ESG100 Company certification from the Thaipat Institute. Through this extraordinary achievement, the company highlights its long-term vision of offering resource efficient projects in Thailand, strengthening its position as a leader in the green building market sector in the country.
It is a golden year for Siamese Asset PLC (SA), which expects to recognize the highest revenue in the past 13 years (New High). The company has achieved the preliminary EDGE Advanced certification of Monsane’ Exclusive Villa, the luxury housing project located in Phutthamonthon, Bangkok and preliminary EDGE certification of Tribe Living Sukhumvit 39, the Hotel and Serviced Apartment projects located in Sukhumvit 39, CBD of Bangkok. It expects to EDGE certify 9 projects in the upcoming years. Through its operations and exemplary commitment towards sustainability, the company emphasizes the need to develop environmentally sustainable projects that allow owners and tenants to achieve important savings in utility costs. The Thaipat Institute, which develops information on corporate sustainability in Thailand and has been a data provider of ESG securities to the company since 2015. with outstanding performance in the areas of environmental, social and good governance (ESG) and recorded profitable results for the last two consecutive years. In addition, there is no misconduct or allegation from the SEC. along with Free Float as provided by the Stock Exchange of Thailand as well.
