Siamese Asset and Ritta Co., Ltd. Collaborate with SCGC to Advance Plastic Waste Management
Toward a Low Waste – Low Carbon Future
Siamese Asset Public Company Limited and Ritta Co., Ltd. participated in a collaborative meeting with SCG Chemicals Public Company Limited (SCGC) to exchange approaches on plastic waste management. The objective of the meeting was to explore tangible strategies for reducing waste and lowering carbon emissions, aligning with the shared goal of achieving a Low Waste – Low Carbon future.
The meeting was attended by Siamese Asset Public Company Limited, led by Mrs.Ratchakorn Tanadatewat, and Ritta Co., Ltd., led by Mr. Phetshrat Phetdee, General Manager; Mr. Suparb Kancharn, Assistant Co-Chief Operating Officer; and Mr. Suriyan Singhholn, Assistant Vice President of Standard Management Systems.
The SCGC team was represented by Ms. Roejarek Kanjanawarutt, Circular Feedstock Manager, and Mr. Chutchai Chaisingthong, Senior Circular Feedstock Executive. Representatives from various business units under the Siamese Asset Group — including the hotel and restaurant divisions, juristic entities of residential projects, and corporate departments — as well as delegates from Ritta Co., Ltd., also attended the meeting.
The core focus of the meeting was on closed-loop recycling based on the principles of a circular economy (Closed Loop Collaboration for Circularity), aiming to deliver tangible outcomes in two key areas:
Low Waste – Reducing plastic waste generation at every stage, from upstream procurement processes and on-site usage within projects to downstream waste separation and recycling. This approach aims to establish a fully closed-loop system for sustainable resource utilization.
Low Carbon – Reducing carbon dioxide emissions from plastic waste through the application of circular economy principles, including recycling, upcycling, and the use of environmentally friendly materials.
These initiatives align with the sustainability mission of Siamese Asset and its partners in the real estate sector, reinforcing their shared commitment to becoming environmentally responsible organizations in every dimension.
This meeting marks only the beginning of a collaborative journey that will lead to future pilot projects and the development of a truly environmentally conscious real estate model.
